Privacy policy

If you create an account we store your name, email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in a readable form.

If you use the planning dashboard we store the wedding details you enter, date, budget, guest list, checklist, notes and saved suppliers. This is yours; we do not sell it, share it with suppliers, or use it for advertising.

When you send an enquiry to a supplier we pass on the details you typed into that form. Your name, email, and whatever you chose to include about your date, guest count and budget. That is the entire point of the form, and nothing beyond it is shared.

We do not sell personal data. We do not pass your details to suppliers you have not contacted. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

Suppliers cannot browse the couples using the site. They only see the enquiries sent directly to them.

We only send the newsletter to people who ticked the box asking for it. Ticking it is never a condition of creating an account or using any of the tools, and leaving it unticked changes nothing about what you can do here.

Our legal basis is your consent, and we record the date you gave it and where, so we can show it was you. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in, and you can turn it off any time under Dashboard, Settings.

If you unsubscribe we keep a note that you did, so that a later import can never quietly put you back on the list. We do not sell or rent the list, and we do not share it with suppliers.

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for tracking or advertising, and there is no cross-site profiling.

We measure aggregate page views with Plausible, a cookieless analytics tool, to understand which guides and counties are useful. It sets no cookies and stores nothing tied to your account, and only runs once you accept it in the cookie banner.

Under GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email us and we will action it within thirty days.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your wedding data is deleted with it. Enquiries you sent to suppliers remain with those suppliers, as they would with any email.
