The comparison
What everyone else charges to be listed
Indicative annual list prices for a standard supplier listing. Most of these platforms negotiate per supplier and don't publish a fixed rate card, so treat them as ranges.
| Platform | Per year | Terms |
|---|---|---|
| Large Irish directory | €1,200–€3,000 | Tiered placement, annual contract |
| International wedding marketplace | €1,800–€4,800 | Priced by county exclusivity |
| Regional listing sites | €400–€900 | Per-county, often per-category too |
| WeddingServicesIreland | €0 | No contract, no card, no catch |
If you’re currently paying four figures a year to be one of forty photographers on a county page, that is the thing we’re competing with. Not you.

A shot at featured placement
Earned from enquiries and reviews, recalculated continuously. It cannot be bought at any price.
How ranking works
Placement is earned, not sold
Because nobody can pay us for position, the order has to come from something real. It comes from what couples actually do.
Enquiries received
The heaviest signal by far. A couple choosing to start a conversation with you means more than any number of page views.
Reviews published
Slower to earn than an enquiry, so weighted below one, but they compound, and they're the thing couples read first.
Your rating
Scales what you've already earned rather than adding to it, so one glowing review can't leapfrog thirty real enquiries.
New listings get a head start
A brand new profile has no enquiries yet, so it gets a boost that decays over its first 60 days, long enough to earn its first real ones instead of being buried behind established names on day one.
Featured cannot be bought
The top 12 suppliers in each category by score carry the badge, recalculated continuously. It’s scoped per category so venues don’t take every slot from cake makers. There is no price for it.
Reach
Where your listing shows up
154 listings across 21 categories and 32 counties. Your profile appears on your category page, your county page, in search, and in the sitemap we submit to Google.
Those county pages are the point. Couples don’t search “wedding photographer”. They search “wedding photographer Cork”. There is a page for every one of those combinations, and you’re on the one that matters to you.
Straight answers
The questions you’re actually asking
Is it actually free, or free until you have my details?
Actually free. No card, no trial, no contract. You create a listing and it goes live once we've checked it's a real business. We'll give suppliers at least twelve months' notice in writing before anything ever changes, and any listing created while it's free stays free for that whole notice period.
Then how does this make money?
Right now it doesn't, and that's deliberate. A directory with no suppliers is worthless to couples, and a directory with no couples is worthless to suppliers. Charging on day one guarantees neither shows up. When there's real traffic we'll look at optional paid extras, but placement will not be one of them.
How do I get to the top of my category?
Enquiries and reviews, weighted with enquiries counting for most. Respond quickly, get couples to leave honest reviews, and keep your profile complete. New listings get a 60-day head start that decays, so you're not buried on day one. Nobody can pay to outrank you.
What's the catch on the enquiries?
None. They're uncapped, they go straight to your email, and we don't sit in the middle taking a commission on anything you book. We don't sell couples' details to anyone.
Can I get a bad review taken down?
Not for being bad. We remove reviews that are fake, defamatory, from a competitor, or that name individual staff, and you can reply to any of them publicly. An honest negative review stays, whatever you're paying us, which is nothing.
What if I want to leave?
Email us and we'll delete the listing. There's no contract to exit and no notice period, because there's nothing to cancel.
No card. No contract. No catch.
