Hotel wedding packages in Ireland: real prices by county
What Irish hotel wedding packages include and what they cost, with published per-head and all-inclusive package prices from venues in every county we list.
Published 24 October 2026
Most Irish hotels sell weddings as a package priced per head. Published packages run from about €60 to €230 per person, and most sit between €80 and €140. At 120 guests, that is roughly €9,600 to €16,800 for the venue and meal before extras. The survey average spend on venue and catering is €15,087.
Below are the packages venues publish themselves, by county, so you can compare before you enquire.
What a hotel wedding package usually includes
- A drinks reception on arrival
- A four or five course meal
- Table wine with the meal
- A bridal suite for the couple on the night
- Use of the function room, with its tables, chairs and linen
Evening food, extra wine, chair covers, a late bar and a residents' bar are the usual extras. Always ask for the price per head with everything you actually want included.

- Mount Wolseley Hotel, Carlow: from €7,900 for 100 guests
- Clanard Court Hotel, Kildare: from €8,500 in lower-season months
- Farnham Estate, Cavan: €9,000 for 120 adults in January, February, March and November, then €75 per extra guest
- Grand Hotel, Malahide: from €12,995 for 80 guests, Monday to Thursday

- Muckross Park Hotel, Kerry: from €19,750 for the first 120 guests, including band, photographer, and hair and make-up
Minimum numbers matter as much as the price
Many packages come with a minimum number of adults, often 100 to 140 at weekends. Brandon House, for example, publishes minimums of 120 to 140 adults, and Ballymaloe House 100 to 125 depending on the day. If you are inviting fewer, you may pay for empty seats, so ask for the minimum on your day before comparing prices. For smaller numbers, see our guide to small wedding venues in Ireland.
How to get the best package price
- Go midweek or off-peak. Many venues publish lower midweek and winter rates. Lough Rynn Castle, for example, publishes midweek packages from €78 per person against weekend packages from €135.
- Compare like with like. Ask every venue for the same thing: drinks reception, meal, wine, evening food and bar, at your guest count.
- Ask what is free. Bedrooms for the couple and family, a menu tasting, or a cake stand are sometimes included.
